About Me

After attending Otis College of Art and Design with a focus in Fine Arts, Danielle's call to travel and learn of cultures abroad drove her to Brazil. There she spent time as a volunteer, working with children between the ages of 5 and 14. She assisted in the arts classes, as well as teaching English. Also making a noted impact on her journey, were the ateliers in the ‘Cidade Alta’ of Olinda, Pernambuco. These artists studios in the High City were a confirmation of her desire to succeed as a fine artist. Since then, Danielle has been living between the US and Brazil for the past five years. Presently she works freelance as a fine artist, specializing in portraits and figurative drawing/painting. Danielle also has a hand-made accessory line called CôR MADEIRA.
